The Pillar Point Harbor RV Park is a first-come, first-served RV Park. It has 49 RV sites with full hookups (water, electricity and sewer) and offers complimentary Cable TV and Wi-Fi to the visitors. It provides an abundance of activities like surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and more.
There’s also a 6-mile bike and walking trail just a few steps off the front of the park. It also contains shops selling fresh fish off the boats. But you aren’t in the mood to cook, you can enjoy the meals served at the world-class restaurants on the park’s premises.

2. Half Moon Bay RV Park
- Pricing: $80 per night
The Half Moon Bay RV Park offers RV camping at its best. You only have to venture just outside this park to enjoy bird watching, surfing, hiking, stand-up paddling, fishing and more. A miles-long cycle track is also within a stepping stone’s distance from the park’s entrance.
Once you’ve reserved a place for your RV inside the park, its administration will offer free Wi-Fi and bathroom facilities. You’ll also be provided laundry services, and there’s a restaurant, pub and inn not far away from where your RV will be parked. Best of all, this park is pet-friendly.

3. Pelican Point RV Park
- Pricing: $83 + tax per night
The Pelican Point RV Park is one of the few Half Moon Bay campsites that allow cooking fires. The park stays open all year and offers cable TV, water, electricity and sewer facilities to its visitors. It also has showers/restrooms, a dog area, and a laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers.
What’s more, since the park’s location is only a 5-minute walk from downtown Half Moon Bay, it’s pretty close to all the stores and restaurants. That’s probably the reason why its RV sites book months in advance, so you might want to make a reservation accordingly.

4. Half Moon Bay State Beach Campground
- Pricing: $10 per night per vehicle
The Half Moon Bay State Beach Campground has two individual beaches (Francis Beach and Venice Beach) and the Coastside Trail (suitable for walking, jogging and riding bikes). It’s on Francis Beach where you’ll get individual sites for your recreational vehicle.
Facilities there include drinking water, picnic areas, indoor and outdoor showers/restrooms, and parking. The campground offers plenty of day-use facilities, including fishing, nature and wildlife viewing, surfing/windsurfing. It also organizes family programs and has a vista point, too.

5. Candlestick RV Park
- Pricing: $89 per night (vehicle length under 30’); $99 per night (vehicle length over 30’)
Located just 4 miles from San Francisco, California, the Candlestick RV Park features 165 full hookup campsites. It offers luxury resort amenities such as RV wash, game room with big-screen TV, historic sightseeing and a grocery store packed with all the essentials you might need.
The park is pet-friendly, big-rig accessible and offers free Wi-Fi. It also provides all your basic amenities like laundry facilities and newly-built restrooms with hot showers. Plus, it’s only a 10-minute walk from Candlestick stadium, the home of the San Francisco 49ers football team.

6. Coyote Point Recreation Area
- Pricing: $45 per vehicle per night fee; $7 reservation fee
The Coyote Point Recreation Area allows an RV of up to 36 feet to camp in 4 designated sites. No more than one (1) vehicle and eight (8) persons can occupy one RV site simultaneously. Dogs are allowed in the recreation area but they must be kept on a leash.
The Recreation Area has many activities to keep you busy including drop-in picnic areas, the Magic Mountain Playground and a CuriOdyssey science playground. It’s also of the most-visited windsurfing, sea kayaking and stand-up paddling destinations in the whole of northern California.

7. Marin RV Park

The Mark RV Park features 87 full hookup campsites. The entire park is pet-friendly, big-rig accessible, and offers free Cable TV and Wi-Fi. Other campsite amenities include an RV supply store, dump station and a heated swimming pool, as well as laundry facilities and restrooms/showers.
